OpmerkingenThis was one of the most amazing things I have ever seen in the sky. I have never seen anything like it. It was great and so unexpected. I had just gone out with the dog before bedtime and saw it almost immediately.

OpmerkingenI saw it moving from north to south in the eastern sky with a tail like a huge comet or shooting star and it flashed very briefly, I think it was right before it disappeared. It lasted only about a second or slightly more and I was so dumbstruck by it, I'm not exactly sure at what point it flashed. It was a very bright green, and the tail was green too.
Fragmentatie
WaarnemingJa
OpmerkingenThe ball itself disappeared without fragmentation, it was pretty well defined, but the tail looked fragmented, like smoke. The tail was quite long, but it did not last longer than the fireball itself. In other words, when the brightest part of the fireball died, there was no lingering tail.
